Holafly
Unlimited-data eSIMs (premium but no usage cap). Great for heavy users.
What Holafly is
Holafly sells travel eSIMs with a focus on unlimited-data plans for specific countries and regions, letting you get online soon after landing without a physical SIM. Travelers choose it when they want generous data without watching a usage meter, particularly for heavy use like maps, streaming, and hotspotting where supported. Plans are delivered digitally by QR code or activation.
What it does for travelers
- ✓Unlimited-data plans for many destinations, avoiding hard data caps
- ✓eSIM delivered digitally, so you can install before departure
- ✓Country and regional packages covering popular travel routes
- ✓Quick activation once you arrive and connect to a local network
- ✓Customer support for setup issues
Good to know
- Requires an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked phone; older or locked devices won't work
- Unlimited plans can still apply fair-use speed management or hotspot limits depending on the plan
- Many Holafly plans provide data only and may not include a local phone number for calls or SMS
- You need internet once to install the eSIM, so set it up on Wi-Fi before you travel
Travel tips
- Install and configure the eSIM while still on home Wi-Fi, but wait to activate until you reach your destination per the instructions
- Confirm your phone is unlocked and eSIM-capable before buying, since the plan is non-transferable to incompatible devices
- If you need calls or texts, keep your home SIM active for them and use Holafly for data, since data-only plans lack a local number
- Check whether your plan allows hotspot or tethering if you plan to share the connection
When to reach for it
Pick Holafly when you want worry-free, unlimited mobile data abroad and are a heavy data user who doesn't want to ration a capped plan.
