Yandex Go
Russia's super-app: rides, food, parcels, taxi. Replaces Uber there.
What Yandex Go is
Yandex Go is a Russian super-app combining ride-hailing, taxis, food delivery, and parcel sending, and it serves as the dominant ride app in Russia and several nearby countries where Uber's own service has been folded into it. Travelers use it to book cars with upfront pricing and to order food or send packages within one app. In its core markets it's the practical default for getting around.
What it does for travelers
- ✓Ride-hailing and taxi booking with upfront fare estimates
- ✓Food delivery from local restaurants
- ✓Parcel and courier delivery between addresses
- ✓Driver and vehicle details with live trip tracking
- ✓Multiple ride classes from economy to higher tiers

- Set your pickup pin carefully, and note that drivers may not speak English, so the in-app details matter.
- Use the upfront price to compare ride classes before booking.
- Save the destination address in the app so you can show or share it rather than relying on spoken directions.
